The Alaska State Museum is open with FREE admission for Gallery Walk from 4:30-7:00pm.
See the newest exhibition, Alaska Positive. Now in its 53rd year, Alaska Positive continues to encourage photography as an art form in Alaska. Guest juror Camille Seaman believes “art is not only important; it is necessary for us to communicate what is happening with our planet.” Her photographs concentrate on the fragile environment of the polar regions, providing the message: “we are of this Earth, and we only get one.”
There will be a lecture
The exhibition will be at the Alaska State Museum December 1, 2022 - March 9, 2024. The exhibition will then travel to museums throughout Alaska.
